How does Tribul differ from a typical auction house?Updated a year ago

Just as with a typical auction house, the winning bidder can have the art shipped to them immediately after the auction ends. But we take it a few steps further. And we take significantly fewer fees.

We bring more to the table by tethering each physical art piece to a non-fungible token (NFT), which serves as a digital certificate of ownership that is stored on the blockchain. By doing so, the winning bidder has the option to enjoy free secure storage with Tribul while holding onto a tradeable digital token with verifiable provenance. Collectors can now buy and sell physical art without having to worry about storage, insurance, and the complicated resell process.

At a Tribul auction, you also have the option to bid with a group of up to 20 people through a shared wallet, which we call a “tribe.” Expanding a collection of physical art can be more enjoyable and financially feasible if done with others. Each tribe wallet integrates directly with our auction house, enabling members to bid in real-time with funds pooled together.
